Fleurie Millesime Cave de Fleurie, Beaujolais, France
This Beaujolais wine ‘Queen of Beaujolais Crus’ is bursting with ripe red berry fruit flavours and a bouquet of red fruits, some black plum and aromatic notes. It is soft and fresh, with delicate silky tannins and a light body resulting in an easy to drink, complex yet softly elegant Fleurie Beaujolais.

Cave de Fleurie dates back to the First World War when the women of the village tended the vines whilst the men were at the front line. The spirit of cooperation between the women led to the formal creation of the cooperative in 1927. Today, the Cave has members across Beaujolais and produces excellent value for money wines.
The Cave de Fleurie has 280 members.
It works 300 ha of vines across 13 Appellations (Fleurie, Moulin à Vent, Chiroubles, Chénas, Juliénas, St Amour, Regnié, Morgon, Brouilly, Bourgogne Blanc, Beaujolais Blanc, Beaujolais and Beaujolais- Villages). It is the biggest producer of Fleurie Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée wines.
The Cave de Fleurie growers are deeply committed to respecting the traditions and methods passed on over the generations, from the cultivation of the vine to the bottling of the wine. The skill and experience of these men and women ensure that our wines are of flawless quality: mineral, fruity; soft and fresh; upfront and silky; and sometimes intense.
