Niel Joubert Wines is a family-owned estate situated on the slopes of Simonsberg Mountain, just outside Stellenbosch, Paarl. The Joubert family has farmed here for five generations, combining deep local knowledge with a philosophy of minimal intervention.

Their vineyards, spread across granite soils at varying altitudes, offer an ideal environment for balanced, fruit-driven wines. The “Patrysbult” label is named after the Afrikaans word for ‘partridge-hump’, the hillock on the vineyard where pheasants and other birds can found on the farm observing their world— a nod to the biodiversity and local traditions of the Western Cape. Niel Joubert Wines is focused on accessibility, heritage and quality — combining traditional farming with thoughtful winemaking to reflect their corner of South Africa with honesty and flavour.
