TASTING NOTES

This is a lovely Provence Rosé from the Bay of Saint-Tropez area and being a blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Cinsault this wine displays wonderful precision. The nose has highlights of crunchy redcurrants and hints of white flowers before a fresh, dry palate. The finish is long and mineral-laden resulting in a fabulous classic Provence Rosé.

A leading producer of Côtes de Provence wine, the Maîtres Vignerons de la presqu’île de Saint-Tropez associate has 10 estates and castles, as well as 3 major cellars with 900 hectares of vineyards run exclusively by the group.

This small collective of winemakers was set up in 1964 as an umbrella group to attempt to harness the power of economies of scale for their members. Currently, the group is made up of 10 vineyards, who each vinify their grapes in their own respective cellars, before coming together to blend their wines and produce the best wine they can from each vintage.
