Producer

Domaine du Météore is named for the 200-metre wide meteorite crater in which many of its vines are planted — a unique geological feature that imparts exceptional minerality to its wines.  The two hundred metre-wide meteorite crater lies at the heart of the domaine and their winery sits in the village of Cabrerolles, at over three hundred metres of altitude in the foothills of the Haut-Languedoc mountains.

Situated in the Faugères AOC, the estate farms organically and uses minimal intervention to allow the schistous soils and altitude to speak through the grapes. Their rosé is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, harvested at night for optimal freshness and crafted with finesse. All wines are certified organic and bottled with respect for biodiversity and balance.

Food Pairings
